Questions & Answers
“I spent 100 days exactly in the hospital. I was in orthopedics for a month and a half and wasn’t supposed to put weight on my legs for 14 weeks. My surgeon said if I stayed bedridden that long, it would kill me, so we got physio working on me right away. I proceeded to work my butt off on the rehab floor because my only goal was to get out of there and get back to my students.”
“I had never even thought about seeing a lawyer. But my friends and the nurses at the Regional explained that I didn’t know what tomorrow would bring or if I’d ever be able to work again. Chris came to visit me right in the hospital. He was so kind, clear, and organized. He explained the long process ahead, answered every question without making me feel foolish, and immediately made me feel taken care of.”
“Chris and I connected right away because we’re both numbers guys. Personal injury claims aren’t just about immediate medical bills; they involve complex calculations regarding future pensions, lost sick leave, and long-term care costs. Chris mapped out projections for adaptive equipment, ongoing physio, and potential early retirement. It felt like a true partnership.”
“Insurance companies are in the business of accepting your money, not doling it out. Having Chris legal representation allowed us to cut through all the silliness. He would put me on speakerphone when talking to adjusters, prepping me on what questions to expect and having my back every step of the way. They took away all the confusion so I could focus on healing.”
“My life changed significantly. I can’t run or play sports like I used to, stairs are tough, and my pelvis aches constantly. But getting back in front of my students to teach calculus and coach volleyball was therapeutic. The settlement Chris secured wasn’t a windfall; it was a necessary nest egg to cover workplace accommodations, special chairs, orthotics, and future medical expenses.”
“You need legal advice, you really do. There are so many hidden long-term costs that you aren’t aware of, from medical equipment to lost sick time. Without Correia & Collins, I would have been like a ship lost at sea. They went above and beyond the call of duty, treated me with genuine compassion, and ensured my future was protected.”
